2014 Basketball Banquet The First Annual Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School Basketball Banquet was held on March 27th.

DRILL TEAM STOMPS THE COMPETITION!!! BASCS Drill Team won TWO TROPHIES at Drill-A-Rama 2014! They stomped out the competition, bringing home the 2nd Place and Most Original for the High School Division! Way to go!!!

9th Annual Poetry Slam... SLAM DUNK !!! The competition was fierce! The talent was amazing! The message was clear! It was not to be missed!
M³ Math Contest a BIG Hit!

M³ Math Contest a BIG Hit! On Saturday, March 15th, BASCS hosted our first ever M³ Math Contest. The event was a HUGE success, with 40 middle school students from schools throughout Erie and Niagara Counties. The 6th, 7th & 8th graders represented the following schools: BASCS, BAVPA, Ben Franklin MS, Buffalo United CS, Charter School for Applied Technologies, Houghton Academy, Niagara Catholic Jr/Sr HS, Olmsted #156, Our Lady of Hope and Sweethome. We are thankful to each and every parent and teacher who was here to support their students. We could not have done it without you! Congratulations to Nathaniel, Alyssa and Nicole on their big wins!

TEAM WOLVERINES RECEIVE CERTIFICATES FROM REPRESENTATIVE HIGGINS March 7, 2014 - Team Wolverines received special certificates of recognition from Representative Brian Higgins for their hard work in representing Buffalo in the FRC and FTC competitions. FRC Team Wolverines are headed to Rochester, NY in just a few short weeks to compete in the Super-Regional competitions. Placing well will send our team off to represent Buffalo in the national events!
