SCIENCE TEAM WINS 4 MEDALS!

Ten students from the 8th and 9th grade science team competed in the Red Creek Science Olympiad Tournament on Saturday, February 11, 2012.

LEADERSHIP TEAM HOSTS FBI

FBI Counterintelligence Officer, Paul Moskal, came to talk to BASCS Leadership Students on October 21st. He shared his thirty plus years of experiences with the students and answered their questions about future career opportunities and requirements for the FBI.

TEA WITH PRINCIPAL SESSIONS

Mr. Ersoy invites BASCS parents every Thursday to have a cup of tea/coffee with him and discuss how to improve student performance at BASCS to make Buffalo Academy of Science the best Charter School in New York State. Teachers are also welcome to join the session.

LEADERSHIP TEAM HOSTS BUFFALO POLICE CHIEF

Buffalo Police Chief Brian Patterson shared his leadership experiences with BASCS Leadership Team on October 27th. He also shared his memories and how he strived for excellence in his life.

FALL FUN IN THE SUN!

The 10th Grade class had an amazing time at Ressler Farms today. The weather held up beautifully for them. Students really enjoyed the country atmosphere.

ALBRIGHT-KNOX ART MUSEUM TRIP

A group of High School Art students participated in a field trip to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. The students were lead on a tour by two docents who explained the visiting exhibit and the permanent exhibit that is owned by the gallery.

HEALTH OCCUPATIONS FAIR FIELD TRIP

Yesterday, 15 of our 7th graders attended a Health Occupations Fair Field Trip to the Buffalo Museum of Science. During the introductory assembly our students were on stellar behavior.

US ATTORNEY HOCHUL VISITS BASCS

BASCS host Mr. William Hochul, US Attorney in the Western District of New York to speak to our freshmen and sophomore students. It was a great leadership experience

ROBOTICS TEAM WINS $6500 GRANT

Robotics team has received confirmation that JC Penney has approved a grant for Our FRC Robotics team!! FRC team will receive a contribution of $6500.

NATIONAL FAMILY NIGHT

On Monday, September 26th, 2011 the Prevention Focus Group and Teachers of Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School hosted a National Family Night for parents and students.
