FUTURE CITY 2012

Buffalo Academy of Science Future City Team won the Honorable Mention Award which is sponsored by the New York Power Authority. This award recognizes the team with a unique feature in their model which stood out over the rest of the field,

which in our case was the underground aspect. Students who participated (in alphabetical order): Nazheayah Acoff, Miles Glenn, Matthew Jeffries, Lauren Killian, Brianna Stewart, Sierra Stewart, and Julian Truman. Teachers Mr. Diakos, Mr. Karatas and Mr. Polat as well as Mr. Jeffrey Lebsack of Hatch, Mott, and MacDonald, our engineer-mentor, had contributions to our team's success.
