We are enthusiastic in our approach to education, the individual attention and the technology emphasized in our curricula. Our school helps to prepare your child(ren) for leadership positions in society.
The Buffalo Academy of Science shows our students the door to walk through; we provide the threshold to confidence, structure, discipline, integrity, leadership, strong moral fiber and knowledge of self and subject. We are the doorway to secondary education. Nevertheless, we insist that the final decision of success lies on the shoulders of each individual. Our students must step into the world soon. The Buffalo Academy of Science is preparing them to walk with confidence.

We look forward to meeting each applicant; however, there are a few guidelines to ensuring that each application is processed without delay:
1) All student(s) accepted to the Buffalo Academy of Science must be New York State (NYS) residents. If you are not a resident at the time of your application but you are planning on moving to NYS, please let us know when your NYS address will be official;
2) Please make sure that all contact information on the application is current and accurate. Please remember to include your email address, as this is a primary source of communication between the school staff and our parents;
3) All applications for the upcoming school year (received by April 10th) will be placed in the lottery.
4) The 2013-2014 admission lottery was held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 therefore, all NEW applications will be processed for waitlist at the appropriate level.
If you have not done so already, come to one of our BASCS Open House events! At the Open House, you will have the opportunity to take a tour, speak with teachers and ask questions about our school. We have several Open House dates that are fast approaching:
* Saturday, January 26, 2013, 11 AM to 1 PM
* Saturday, February, 23, 2013, 11 AM to 1 PM
* Saturday, March 23, 2013, 10 AM to 2 PM (Open House Showcase)
