Dozens of parents of juniors and seniors came out to participate in this informational session. Our college-bound students and their parents heard presentations and were able to ask questions of our special guests from UB Admissions, SAY Yes Buffalo and the United States Marine Corps.

September 18, 2014 - Niagara University admissions counselor, Tara Ganschow, visited BASCS to talk about the college admissions process. Twenty seniors attended the session, asked lots of questions and gained valuable information about college admissions and Niagara University's programs.

September 12, 2014 - Families of BASCS Students and Staff alike came together to kick off the new school year. Families got a chance to preview the many After School clubs and activities that will be offered this quarter as well as participate in some family-fun activities. BASCS students paid their respect to Commissioner Garnell Whitfield, in honor of the service of the men and women of the Buffalo Fire Department - as well as First Responders everywhere - in tribute to the memory of those lost and gratitude for those who survived the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
