Communicable Diseases

If your child has been diagnosed by the physician as having any communicable (highly contagious) disease/condition (including chicken pox, pinkeye, head lice, ringworm or unidentified rash, scabies, measles, mumps, pertussis, whooping cough, respiratory flu or strep throat), you must contact the school office immediately

 

If your child has been diagnosed with a communicable disease s/he will not be allowed to return to school without a written release from the physician.

 

The New York State Department of Health and the New York State Education Department have issued a joint public notice to schools regarding the Ebola virus. Please read the Guidance on the Ebola Outbreak memorandum released by the Deputy Commissioner of Public Health and the Deputy Commissioner of P-12 Education for the State of New York.
