Staff selection will be based on strong academic preparation, professional competence, intellectual rigor, emotional maturity, enthusiastic professional attitude, knowledge of instructional practices, and ability to contribute to the furtherance of the school's educational goals. Attention will be paid, among other factors, to the candidate's academic records, and his/her previous relevant experience.

Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School (BASCS) is a public charter school which was opened in September 2004. For the 2012-2013 school year, there are around 400 students in grades 7 through 12. 

Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

  • Long Term Building Sub

The school seeks teachers in these areas to take up the rigorous, joyous challenge of helping students chart their academic journey. Subjects listed as part-time may be brought up to full-time status by teachers whose expertise covers more than one subject area.
