On June 7, 2012, 50 volunteers from the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) visited BASCS for a Day of Service. The volunteers, who were in town for their annual convention, were on hand from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, donating their time for various projects around the building.
On May 30th, BASCS Counselor, Ms. Amy Magney, was recognized by ASVAB for her “outstanSaveding commitment to the students of the Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School during the 2011-2012 school year”.
BASCS seniors held their picnic at Chestnut Ridge Park on Monday, May 29. They enjoyed playing games, grilling food, sharing memories, bonding with teachers, and relaxing.
May 9th and 10th marked the dates for the Middle and High School Honors Breakfasts, respectively. We had some parents in attendance to see the students receive their Merit Roll, Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, Most Improved and Citizenship Certificates.
